A busy.day for.Aaron Smith and Lauren.Murphy who ran in the National Indoor 1500m races in AIT today.

Aaron finished in 5th in his heat in 4:34 to qualify for the final. He faced stiff competition in the final finishing 10th againin 4:34.

Lauren finished 3rd in her heat in a very fast time of 4:59 and then went on to run 5:00 flat to finish 7th in the final.

It was a long day but the experience of running heats and finals will stand to.these athletes in the future.
